I knew that one day I would open up my own centre and that I would use all my experiences and knowledge to create my centre to have what I think every centre should be. I was born in Camiling, Tarlac in the Philippines and came to Canada when I was about 2 1/2 years old with my mom and my dad and my 3 older sisters in March of 1973. My family is very close.

Spending time with my parents, my sisters (and niece and nephews), my husband, his family and our two handsome sons is the most wonderful thing in life! Working with young children is a very fulfilling career for me. Children make me so happy, I love being around them, they make me laugh and smile. I love their sense of wonder and, in a sense, their innocence. Still, after 16 years working with children, one of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to work on creating new Early Childhood Education games and props. When I am with the children, I love playing the guitar and singing together. It is the one activity that brings pure happiness and harmony to their minds. I am a licensed Early Childhood Educator and Infant /Toddler Educator. I also completed my studies in Special Needs Education, School Age Childcare, Gymnastics and Music. I have worked teaching children since 1988. In addition to teaching and as a personal goal, to better the level and quality of child development, I also developed the program to train, and trained Early Childhood and Care Education and parents in the areas of art, drama and storytelling.

Knew I would become a teacher since I was a little girl. What I love most about teaching, aside from spending time with the children, is to work with them in discovering their interests and strengths, and to constantly feed them new games and different stimuli. I particularly like working with pre-elementary children because of the wonderful opportunity to work with the parents in a very different and special way. I like helping and supporting parents in their journey as parents, and being there as a source of advice and information for them.
